New Providence Open 2016

Topping the charts in the New Providence Open 2016 was candidate master (CM) Cecil Moncur, who ran the table to finish the tournament with a perfect score of 6.0 points.

Finishing second on tie breaks was Philip Hanna Jr., whose 4.0 points equalled those of woman candidate master Daijah Johnson, CM Kendrick Knowles, and Polina Karelina.

Moncur and Hanna have now qualified for the national championship and Chess Olympiad, both to be held later this year.
