JANUARY

The 2026 Bahamas National Chess Championship returns as a premier over-the-board national event, bringing together ten of the strongest chess players in The Bahamas. Over nine (9) rounds of intense competition, players will vie for $2,350 in prize money and the prestigious title of 2026 Bahamas National Chess Champion.

MARCH

The I Love Chess Rapid is a BCF-rated event open to players of all levels. It’s the perfect opportunity for new players to test their skills and for experienced competitors to sharpen up for an exciting year of chess in The Bahamas.
