LOCATION: Q Cafe, Queens College START TIME: Saturday, November 16th, 9:00 A.M. FORMAT: 5 Rounds, Swiss System TIME CONTROL: Game in 60 minutes PRIZES –Trophy 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place REGISTRATION FEE: $20 ORGANIZER: Bahamas Chess Federation (BCF)

Swiss format of 5 rounds; game in 60 minutes. SCHEDULE: On-site registration: Saturday, 16th, 8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. Saturday November 16th: Round 1: 9:00 a.m. Round 2: 12:00 p.m. Round 3: 3:00 p.m. Sunday November 17th: Round 4: 11:00 a.m. Round 5: 2:00 p.m. AWARDS 15 minutes after completion of round 5 ELIGIBILITY • Open to any BCF Member Player who has not reached his/her 20th birthday before 1st January 2025. ENTRY Submission: Registration form must be completed and submitted:
Fees: $20 per player Fees are payable on-site until 8:45 a.m. RULES Pairings will be done automatically by the Swiss Manager software based on the FIDE ‑Swiss Rules. The default time is 15 minutes after the round starts. Tie-Break System:
The Tournament Director & Chief Arbiter can agree to change the format before the beginning of the tournament if needed, depending on the number of players entered. No mobile phones, laptops, tablets, or other smart devices (including watches) will be allowed in the play area. By registering for this event, players acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the tournament regulations. |

NOTE: A Player may only enter one of these tournaments. Only the players that register for the Junior National Championship are eligible to win that title.
