SCHOLASTIC COMPETITIONS
Our Chess in Schools program includes three annual Scholastic Chess Championship Tournaments:
Bahamas Scholastic Team Chess Championship Bahamas Scholastic Individual Chess Championship Bahamas Primary Schools Chess Championship These student-only competitions encourage and equip students to embrace, develop and test their chess skills and strategy in over-the-board battles against other students. Recognizing the importance of Scholastic Tournaments to the development and success of chess in the Bahamas, and the need to have intra and inter-school competitions we are launching two key programs in 2025. Scholastic Chess League Chess In Schools Support Program We believe these two initiatives will work well together to foster and support an active Chess in Schools program with lots of opportunities for our students to learn and play chess. |
