LOCATION: - TBA GAME START TIMES: On-site registration: Saturday, June 24th: 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Round 1: Saturday, June 24th at 9:00 a.m. Round 2: Saturday, June 24th at approximately 1:00 p.m. Round 3: Saturday, June 24th at approximately 5:00 p.m. Round 4: Sunday, June 25th at 10:00 a.m. Round 5: Sunday, June 25th at approximately 2:00 p.m. Awards Presentation: Immediately after Round 5 FORMAT: 5 Rounds, Swiss system TIME CONTROL: Game in 60 minutes,+30 secs ENTRY FEE: $20 All entry fees will be collected at venue by June 24TH 8:30am. PRIZES: Open: Trophy + Gift: 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place Top Junior: Gift Top Female: Gift QUALIFICATION: The players that place 1st and 2nd overall will qualify for the 2024 National Championship The top Under 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 players will qualify for the Pan-American Youth Chess Festival (Chicago) and the CAC Youth Chess Championship (Trinidad & Tobago).
