EXECUTIVE BOARD
The administration of BCF is lead by The Executive Committee, which is comprised of five members elected to serve for a 2 year term. The five positions are:
The Committee's purpose is to ensure good governance, promotion and sponsorship of chess play through the commonwealth of the Bahamas.

The Tournament Director is appointed by the Executive Committee. He/she is:
a) responsible for management of all aspects of BCF sanction tournaments b) Assist all other Executive Committee Members in their designated duties c) Organize, direct and oversee all BCF tournaments and be the chief arbiter of same d) Issue and update ratings for all tournaments competitors e) Undertake all duties necessary for the smooth and effective running of BCF tournaments f) responsible for the implementation and management of all aspects of junior chess |
