ARBITERS (Active)

International Arbiter White, Andre held the most FIDE-rated tournaments in the Bahamas. He was the arbiter for Nassau Cup Invitational 2017. He also was an arbiter at the 2014 Olympiad (Norway), and CAC Youth Festival 2015 (Trinidad). He has been the President of the Bahamas Chess Federation from 2013 to 2016. While he was President, the Bahamas Chess Federation achieved 6 titles (1 FM, 3 CM and 2 WCM).

FIDE Arbiter Joseph, Elton has been an arbiter in FIDE-rated tournaments on more than sixteen occasions between 2012 and 2017.  Two of these tournaments were abroad, specifically CARIFTA 2014 (Barbados) and CAC Youth Festival 2015 (Trinidad).  He also successfully passed the rigorous examination given at the conclusion of the 29th Internet FIDE Arbiter Seminar in December 2013.

FIDE Arbiter Pride, Angel has served an as arbiter in BCF sanctioned tournaments since 2019. The Orjan Lindroth Memorial-2022, The Bahamas National Chess Championship 2023, The Orjan Lindroth Memorial-2023, the 2023 CAC Youth Chess Festival in Trinidad are examples of some of the prestigious tournaments that she arbitered. She received her FIDE Arbiter license in 2024. 

She served as the General Secretary of The Bahamas Chess Federation from 2022 to 2023, and was reelected to serve for 2023 - 2025. She is the co-founder of The Pink Pawns Chess Program.
