BCF event at the Nazareth Center
On Saturday, August 18th the BCF held an extremely successful community event at the Nazareth Center in Millenium Gardens. Eighteen players including members of 2018 National Olympiad Team came out to help develop our nation's youth. Because of the good turnout, we were able to provide all of the kids from the Nazareth center a personal trainer to help them begin their journey.
We are very proud of our all members that were able to come out and to assist in spreading this great sport around the county. We had a good turn out from our junior players who also trained other kids. We would also like to thank our members for generously donating fruits and water for the kids in addition to the ten chess sets.
The kids had a great time and many of the trainers complemented on how impressed they were by the skills of the kids, most of whom had never played before. We hope to continue our outreach to the center and hope that soon they will be able to attend BCF events for free.
