“Chess is imagination” (David Bronstein)

The BCF organizes chess tournaments throughout the calendar year for players of all ages.  Most events are held on weekends at the C. W. Sawyer Primary School auditorium, with T. G. Glover Primary School serving as the main venue for our junior events (see maps).  Visit one of our scheduled tournaments and see for yourself how the great mind sport of chess changes lives.
