- The Application fee is waived, for Junior Players in 2020
- Junior players are not allowed to vote at BCF meetings.
- Proof of identification may be requested.

ARTICLE NO. III – MEMBERSHIP
2. Junior membership shall be open and restricted to any player or person interested in playing chess who is less than eighteen (18) years of age at the time of his/her membership application. The said membership will be granted upon payment of required membership fees and approval of membership application as stated in the BCF Rules and Regulations.

RULE III - MEMBERSHIP
The Bahamas Chess Federation (hereinafter referred to as the BCF) offers two categories of membership:
1. Full; and
2. Junior
All membership applicants must complete a membership form. Full Membership is open to anyone 18 years of age or older. A new or returning (whose membership has defaulted for more than one year) full member shall serve a 3-month probationary period during which time they have no voting rights. The annual membership fee for a full member shall be $35.00. Junior Membership is open to anyone under the age of 18. When a junior member turns 18 years old, they will revert to a full member with all the rights and privileges. The annual membership fee for a junior member shall be $15.00.
Any individual suspended from BCF may reapply for membership. Such members shall serve one year of probation where they have no voting rights and will not be eligible for any office in BCF while on probation.
